1st Annual Hip Hop Business Summit Hits Newark New Jersey

NEW JERSEY PERFORMING ARTS CENTER HOSTS ECSMG 1st ANNUAL HIP HOP BUSINESS SUMMIT

Hip Hop Business Summitt coming in late August in New Jersey. Lots of good information will be shared at this summitt. This is the direction that the industry needs to take, in my opinion. Music is a business, but many "professionals" that make a living in this business are wrapped up in the popularity aspect of it. Information and event details are below.

ECSMG Consulting Hip Hop Business Summit -aka- "Hood Economics" will be held on Saturday, August 23, at NJPAC, Newark, NJ, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Summit will be held in conjunction with the Celebrity Golf Classic Weekend.

The Summit will focus on encouraging entrepreneurship by highlighting business opportunities that exist in the community, providing interactive discussions, sharing personal success stories, and key business tools and information.

The panelists of entrepreneurs include Industry executives, business leaders and celebrities. They will share their keys to success as well as give advice on how to succeed to the attendees. Business leaders will also review business plans, and music executives will be on hand to give feedback on demos. Music will be reviewed for possible opportunities. Tickets to The Summit are $55,

The weekend of events includes a Celebrity Golf Tournament at Weequahic Park on Fri., August 22nd and a VIP "White" Party on Sat, August 23rd at The Spot Lounge located at 45 Commerce St., with special celebrity guests, surprises and a musical performance by The Bradford Hayes Quartet at 8 p.m.
