Chef Raekwon has had the gift and the curse of dropping an undeniable hip hop classic on his first go-around. For most artists, this has had a crippling effect on the rest of their career, as their latter efforts are always judged by the solo debut. While I think it was entirely too long to drop the follow-up to this classic, the anticipation is at an all-time high for this release. Rae was under the Aftermath umbrella for a while and there was talk of having Dr. Dre and RZA co-produce the album but this did not pan out.

In the era of dance happy rap tunes, does Only Built for Cuban Linx have a place in your IPOD?
Time will tell how the Chef delivers for this highly anticipated follow-up.
