The World's Most Dangerous Rap Group, N.W.A. turned hip-hop upside down when they came on the scene. Based in Compton, California, the group redefined the ganster rap genre of hip-hop with an in-your-face style of brashness and bravado never before seen in hip-hop.
The NWA "family-tree" or artists that have come from under the founding members, are Hall of Fame hip-hop artists themselves, which lends to the credibility of the group.
It's interesting to note Rolling Stone listed them in the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
