Eve Minor is the Supervillain Bad Girl of Your Dreams

Eve Minor is making major moves with her self produced EP, Shooting $tars. It's currently charting on college radio two positions above commercially successful artists 'The Chainsmokers'.
With her hip hop background and DIY attitude, this is a grass roots artist cementing her way to stardom while becoming the first self made female artist.

Shooting $tars opens up with a pop hit. Shoulda Neva, slaps you in the face with it's catchy chorus and sassy one liners.

-"All your homies spittin game saying you ain't a man. What ya think about that?"

The production on it is consistent and reminds us of OutKast and Rick James. Minor has been compared to Rick James in the past as well as icon, Prince. With photos from her tour signing panties, it is evident Eve Minor is not just an extreme talent, but truly a rockstar live.

Hip hop has been experimenting with rock for a long time (Run DMC/Aerosmith) and more recently artists like XXXTentacion, and Lil Peep explore punk and rock avenues in their sounds.

Eve Minor is no different in the hip hop community because of the incorporation of rock and funk elements in her record. The track, Shooting $tars, sounds parallel to Nirvana with elements of trip hop via Portishead. Her vocal delivery is strong, and the moody guitar sounds in the production are any gear heads dream to listen to.

Supervillain is a beautifully orchestrated ballad that sounds similar to Amy Winehouse and a cross of rock legends Pink Floyd. Eve Minor wails the lines:

"Hurt me so good.
Make it last all night.
You feel so good.
I'm going to make you mine..."

and brings us back down in a hypnotic and angelic voice

"...because, I'm bad. Because, I'm bad like you."

Eve Minor's vocal range and ability is explosive. Lyrically this is a bad girls anthem, and a man's wet dream.

Queen of the Jungle and Last Day Here are both brilliant hip hop tracks. The delivery of Queen of the Jungle reminds us of Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson, but in a modern Minor way. An eclectic artist, Eve Minor successfully blends genres while making her own in the process. The piano chops on both tracks are part of their charm; with the DJ scratch woven in and an anthemic chant "Keep Fighting", it is a hip hop masterpiece. Featuring deM atlaS on Last Day Here, this brighter track completes the two and ties up the EP for a journey through Eve Minor's artistry and mind.

Having completed a successful cross country tour, Eve Minor is announcing new things on her social media. The Queen of the Jungle music video is slated to drop in late July, in addition to another tour, and a new few tracks from Minor herself.

She went on twitter to announce from the road that a track potentially titled, Guts, may be surfacing soon. Keep an eye on her socials for play by plays of new things and live performance announcements. Her live shows are like none other in energy and musical talent.
