David “DiZREAL” Carnahan is an American, Gospel Hip Hop Recording Artist who was born and raised in a suburb of Seattle, WA (City of Edmonds). He and his only brother (who died in 2012 due to complications from a diving accident) were mostly raised by their Mother. At age 11, David started rigorously studying and playing the cello, the instrument. He eventually wrote his own classical arrangements. Also at 11 years old, he became a semi-finalist in a contest hosted by the “International Society of Poets” as a result of some poetry he wrote in his 5th grade class. Eventually, he converted his aspirations of song-writing and poetry into writing and producing Hip Hop music, which he had been a fan of and had connected with since he was 10 years old, starting with writing his first rap at age 14 after listening to an album from Oakland Rapper “Too $hort.” By age 17, he was making his own beats, hooks and recording songs.
