Baltimore Hip Hop Mainstay Club Sonar Closes it Doors

Club Sonar, a longtime fixture in the Baltimore hip hop scene is closing its door for reasons surrounding liquor license and dissolved partnership between the owners. The venue, which opened in 2001, quickly became a mainstay for great hip hop shows throughout the years as well as a training grounds for many of Baltimore hip hop's up and coming acts to stand tall next to the legends and veterans of the game.
