Hip-Hop Chess Federation To Be Featured on Good Morning America
Wu-Tang Clan's RZA and Traxamillion Highlighted in GMA Weekend's Profile on Hip-Hop & Chess
The Hip-Hop Chess Federation (HHCF) is proud to announce that the organization was slated to be featured on Good Morning America on the 19th, but the date has changed to the 26th of October 2008.
The Hip-Hop Chess Federation molds martial arts, chess, and hip-hop culture in an effort to promote non-violence among youth.
HHCF CEO Adisa Banjoko, HHCF Chess Kings Invitational Champion RZA, and rap producer Traxamillion, will be featured in the segment.
"The Hip-Hop Chess Federation appreciates that the producers of GMA saw the importance of our efforts" said Adisa Banjoko. "By giving the youth direct access to the biggest names in Hip-Hop, chess and MMA we keep them focused on the things that really matter in life. Youth violence is at an American crisis coast to coast. Our goal is to reintroduce non-violent philosophies through balancing artistic, mental and physical activities. This approach enables young people to find proactive life strategies from wherever they are economically, racially or socially. The chessboard does not care where you are from or how rich you are. It rewards you for giving the best of yourself at all times."
