"Composing for the Screen" is an elite master class for emerging professionals. Directed by Rick Baitz (Vagina Monolques, Education of Shelby Knox), the course examines the diversity of film composition and offers attendees the opportunity to use the professional facilities of the Manhattan Producers Alliance to compose and record short cues excerpted from a range of film sources. The five class program includes screenings of film excerpts, live recording sessions and a presentation by Oscar-winning composer David Shire, (Zodiac, The Conversation, Norma Rae, Saturday Night Fever, All The President’s Men)
