Atlanta, GA - Ruff Ryders Records which came to prominence in 1988 and whose roster represents a bevy of rap and R&B artists including Eve, The Lox, DMX and Drag-On, primarily through its joint venture with Interscope, has appointed Tariq Alexander as President of Ruff Ryder Film Division. The marriage with Ruff Ryders Film and Tariq Alexander, who is also the CEO of TSW Film Production was formed to expand the Ruff Ryders brand into the film and TV industry by developing projects that depict real-life urban experiences.

Tariq Alexander is an accomplished actor and model, who has graced the covers of GQ Magazine, Ebony and Vogue. Armed with an in-depth understanding of entertainment and his personal desire to help individuals break in to the industry, Tariq Alexander created "The System Within" (TSW) a production entity and entertainment community, that produces films and reality shows featuring some of today's top entertainers, the skills of seasoned entertainment professionals coupled with talented newcomers, which debuted with the film of the same name, titled "The System Within" in 2006.
