Young Cisto and Nardo Wick: Whose Got the Original Track?

It takes great music to leave a mark on the world and hence, Young Cisto has proved his talent time and over again!

Oslo-based singer and performer with Ghanaian heritage, Young Cisto loves entertaining his fans with amazing music. And if it said, the young lad has given hip-hop a new twist, that won’t be wrong.

Cisto has released a good few songs over the past few years, with his latest being “Red Flag” which gained popularity because all the right and wrong reasons! That is correct! The song, the tune, and its lyrics were very confidently stolen by another aspiring singer and Cisto wants the fans to know that!

The Stolen Song

There have been plenty of cases in the past where a singer blamed his competitor to have stolen either words or the tune of his song. But have you ever heard of some stealing multiple lines and tune from a singer?

As much as it may sound unbelievable but in Cisto and Wick’s case, it is true. Young Cisto wanted to surprise his fans with a beautiful melody, a song that touched the heart, and so on 9th November 2021, he realized the very amazing “Red Flag”, a song loved by many.

And then on 3rd December, Nardo Wick came back with a new hit “Blam Boom”, a song that seemed awfully familiar. Oh, it had an uncanny resemblance to Cisto’s Red Flag but how was it possible?

Nardo Wick has confidently stolen Cisto’s music which was surely a bad move! Stealing if songs, lyrics, and tunes aren’t new in the industry but certainly a low move by Nardo Wick. But how was the world so sure the Wick was at fault?

This is pretty clear because Young Cisto had released Red Flag almost a month before Nardo Wick released his Blam Boom. Hence, there is no proof needed that the latter stole Cisto’s hard work, claiming it shamefully to be his original work.

The Justice Shall Prevail

Young Cisto’s music, the originality helped him gain a massive fan following within a short time. Hence, watching him climb to success so quickly made his competition envious.

And so Nardo Wick played dirty by stealing Young Cisto’s recent release by copying lyrics and the tune throughout the song. If you’ve heard both the songs, you might have realized that Blam Boom sounds awfully familiar because you know the original track.

But no matter how hard it is to find justice; justice shall prevail. The world knows Cisto had released his Red Flag before Wick and so, who stole whose work is pretty evident. Using cheap tactics to gain success the easy way is not difficult but you can never fool the people.

Nardo Wick might have thought that no one will notice that he had stolen Cisto’s work, but when you do wrong, it doesn’t hide easily. Apart from the consequences he has to bear for stealing music, Wick at least owes Cisto an apology!
