Charlotte, NC based artist, Vegas Da Gift/ Vegas Action Jackson, Started his career seriously, relatively late in life, due to setbacks in his young life. Losing his father to incarceration, and deciding to take life in his own hands. He found himself falling into a life a crime. Which in turn, lead to a few stints of jail time. Realizing the street life produced untimely death and prison sentences. He realized music was his true calling. Putting his criminal past behind him. But using it as inspiration. Vegas has just inked a deal with Big Vision Music, and has begun putting his debut EP, “Da Gift and the Curse” together. With the first single, “Dark Knight”, you will be able to visualize, the life that continues to pull on him. Some may consider Vegas to be a rapper. And some would say, a singer.
