Uppercase G is a Shanghai based Cameroonian rapper, entrepreneur and fashion head who burst into the music scene in November 2022. In his debut single "OUTSIDE" released on May 21st 2023, Uppercase G showcases several strong attributes. His originality, great lyricism, sick flow, ability to switch between multiple languages, Nas level storytelling, are some of his most powerful prowess. All that combined with his rawness, confident and aggressive delivery, makes G a force to reckon with.

As he claims, he was sent by “The Notorious B.I.G”to rescue hip-hop.

Real name “Yannick Sab Ndimah” was born in 1989 in Douala, Cameroon where he lived with his parents until the age of 10. Becoming more and more recalcitrant, he was moved to Buea into the more strict hands of his uncle.
Unable to cope with the more disciplined household, he moved himself back with his parents just a year later, now to his hometown “Santa-Akum” a.k.a “Small London” Where his father who had just retired from the army had moved the family to.

G was then sent to a Boarding school in 2002, and ended up attending 3 boarding schools in 4 years due to disciplinary issues. His father then decided to bring him back home to a private day school, where he will be under close watch. But unfortunately, his father passed away the same year 2006.

Now fatherless at age 16, and being the oldest male in the house with his mother and 4 siblings with no male role model to look up to, That is when G discovered hip-hop music.
