In a great night of performances, The Turntable Club is the place where the Baltimore hip-hop community came together under one roof to celebrate the Mixtape release of one of its heros and leaders, Shaka Pitts, The Voice of Baltimore Hip-Hop.

The night kicked off with an opening performance by Trace Blam. The next act was the most versatile as Reina Williams went through a hip-hop set and strapped on the guitar for a stripped down version of Father Figure and another original acoustic song written and produced by her.

While possessing an obvious sense of humor and sarcastic nature while interacting with the crowd, you can easily see that she has a passion for her music and lyrics which have proven to be quite introspective.
Her album is dropping soon and is well worth a listen due to her versatility as an artist/beatsmith/ and engineer .

PX hit the stage and despite issues with the sound onstage, the duo ripped through older material as well as upcoming material from Kneel Knaris' upcoming LP, which is shaping up to be a defining album release in the annals of Baltimore hip-hop fame.

Natural Remedy had a great performance and ran through 4-5 songs.

Headliner Shaka Pitts didn't let the cranberry and vodkas stop him as he ran through select cuts from The Lost Hard Drive of Shaka Pitts mixtape. The crowd in attendance hung on to every word and rapped along in unison. It was a bittersweet moment for Pitts as his partner in rhyme Pain and Strife inspired him to release this project but due to him passing way untimely, he wasn't able to witness this moment. The final song of the evening was dedicated to his memory.
