Peru-Based Artist, DCizco on the Rise

Hot, new Latin artist DCizco has been rising since his new album release, #WeCoolYouAreNot. DCizco is a Peru-based artist and has had a tough journey to overcome.

 

From the age of 14 to 16, DCizco attended military school and after began going to a high school in New York. The artist began attending military school because his behavior could not keep him in a school, he was always getting kicked out. But through troubling past, he was always recognized for his acting ability and participation in choir programs.

 

DCizco played the behind-the-scenes role for many of his peers before he looked to start his own career in the music industry. He felt he wasn’t confident enough in his abilities to succeed in the music industry. Instead, DCizco even reflects on investing in another friend’s music video before he did for his own.

 

He just wanted to see others around succeed just as much as he did himself.

 

DCizco started to write music in 2010 while working as a HVAC Technician to fund his launch into the music industry and social media. He understood in order for him to develop his brand and image as an artist he had to invest in doing so. Increasing his page appearance on social media platforms became significant and it has brought exposure to his platform. DCizco tells us his story like this:

 

“I went back to the song I started writing a few months back, Ven Paca Mamita and contacted Miguel Muñoz to help me finish the song. I presented the song to him and he liked it, he said he had some lyrics that he hadn’t been able to use but that could fit perfectly with my song - and after weeks of talking we came into an agreement to work on my first album,”.

 

After launching his new album #WeCoolYouAreNot, DCizco has been on the rise; the artist is interested in doing music in “different genres like hip hop, rap, more Latin pop music and romantic,” eventually as he continues to develop.
