OE has one of the most commanding voices of any contemporary hip hop artist, male or female alike. Upon surviving the street life of South Oak Cliff Texas as a teen, the timeless mc heralded a flurry of traumatic experiences resulting in the textured and gritty lyrical serenades that make up her ongoing catalogue.

The decorated war veteran serves as a bold reminder of what the combo of authenticity and rhythmic talent looks like in this modern day “pop/trap” music era. The ATL transplant delivers hidden Easter eggs in her flows that hint at her tattered past in every composition. Songs such as “Guns & Melatonin” serenade you with graphic imagery of her time spent at war, gang culture experiences, and her relentless spirit to not be defined by any one interval of her tormented past which also includes but is not limited to her being paralyzed and loosing her only child poetically named Truth. Disguised between snappy hooks, her verses keep you intrigued from an autobiographical POV while simultaneously engaging the desire to dance and turn the f*ck up.

JOE is a real deal type of talent reminiscent of a contemporary female Ice Cube that will be here for the long haul.
