East Texas rapper Colby Savage releases new CD entitled Beautiful
East Texas rapper Colby Savage, with the guidance of MayneStream Management, has released his latest CD, Beautiful. Considered the Southern rap version of Jay-Z, Colby successfully expresses his rise from the street life on his third offering with his energetic, aggressive flow. A native of East Texas (Commerce), Colby Savage is highly-respected artist in the Dallas / Fort Worth Independent Hip-Hop Scene. He's revered for his ability to keep his rhymes street yet intelligent. His riveting performances on the underground circuit have given him the opportunity to open for legendary hip-hop artists like Scarface, Wu-Tang Clan, UGK (Bun-B & Pimp C) as well as 8-Ball & MJG. Executively produced by rising producer Dawgs Dabato, Beautiful features 21 songs displaying Colby Savage's legitimate street edge, intelligent wordplay and clever use of metaphors & similes.

"Music Love Affair", the 2008 street anthem produced by B-War, successfully sets the tone for the album. As the lead single, "Music Love Affair" shows Colby saluting hip hop by using a woman as a metaphor for music to reciprocate the love he has given. Throughout the LP, Mr. Savage puts his life on display to illustrate his life struggles to prevent others from traveling into their own dead-ins. J-Hawg, Billikin, Knes and Young Gem join Dawgs Dabato and B-War on providing production work for Beautiful. Features on the album include Knes, Lisa Love and long time collaborators QP and T-Tonka from Philly Station. Unique Styles Magazine gave Beautiful a near perfect rating of 4.8 points out of a possible 5.0 in its February 2008 issue.
