Kottonmouth Kings Celebrate 4-20 Holiday
Announce June Harvest Tour With Expendables, Insolence & Dirtball
California rip-hop hybrids the Kottonmouth Kings have announced their month long "June Harvest" Tour, in support of their upcoming 2-disc CD/DVD audio-visual package, Kottonmouth Xperience 2. The tour will feature The Expendables, Insolence and The Dirtball as special guests.
In celebration of this year's annual marijuana holiday, commonly referred to as 4-20 (after the Police code 4:20, which is used to indicate marijuana smoking in progress), Kottonmouth Kings are urging fans to request "Free Willy", a ballad from the group's latest full-length about Willie Nelson's encounters with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), or the track "Proud To Be A Stoner" at radio stations. Starting April 15th Suburban Noize and the Kottonmouth Kings will announce the First Annual Kottonmouth Awards. The awards are given to those who have helped to spread awareness of the growing legalization movement and those who demonstrated exceptional stoney abilities throughout the year. Categories will include Freedom Fighter Award, Kottonmouth Kween Award, Athlete Of The Year along with others.
Kottonmouth Kings will release Kottonmouth Xperience 2 on April 15th, 2008 through the group's own label, Suburban Noize Records. The 2-disc set takes fans through a psychedelic journey with some of the best remixes of classic Kottonmouth Kings material by some of today's hottest producers. The group will also be performing in Las Vegas, NV April 19th and Orange County, CA on April 20th.
