Hittmenn DJs Celebrate their Quinquennial Reunion in Atlanta



ATL's own Hittmenn Djs will hold their annual DJ reunion this year in Atlanta August 22nd-25th at The Georgian Terrace Downtown Atlanta. In the past, the reunion has been held in different cities across the country. The first annual Hittmenn Djs Reunion was held in Atlanta , then Orlando , New York and last year in Los Angeles . Now President Kaspa The Don plans to bring it all back to ATL to celebrate the Quinquennial Reunion.



"This is our fifth year reunion to celebrate our brotherhood of DJs who have been making major moves in the music industry," says Kaspa. "To celebrate, myself, Greg Street CEO and DJ Bigga Rankin V.P. are bringing it all back to where it all started and where the Hittmenn Djs are headquartered. We are at a climax, marking the fifth year of grinding hard and so we decided instead of taking it out of the country let's take it back to ATL," says the aggressive business mogul.



The very first Hittmenn Djs Reunion was held in Atlanta and at the time a little known artist by the name of Young Jeezy headlined the Reunion five years ago. This year, look for Grand Hustle artists to come out in a major way, including T.I., Alfamega and BG., Kuntry King, Collipark, Zone 4 Inc., Jive Records, and Danja Handz Musik. There are also strong independent labels on the roster including -WashHouse Records and TSG, JW, Hunt and more. Attendees can also expect to see the boss lady of Miss Rap Supreme herself, Yo Yo who is also a Hittmenn Djs member.

"When we do a reunion, we fly everyone to the designated city and do it big. When we held the reunion in New York , we went to all the major labels in New York . The labels got a chance to politic with Greg Street, Freddy Hydro, Don Q, Teddy T, Dapa, Duddy Laundry, Bishop, G money, Lil Homey and many of our brothers because we brought them all to the table."

Last year, Kaspa and the crew went overboard by flying hundreds of Djs to Los Angeles for the BET Awards/Hittmenn Djs Reunion. "Hittmenn and Interscope Records held a huge afterparty for the BET Awards. 50 Cent was the headliner so a huge Amusement Park was built to compliment 50’s single, Amusement Park, right on Hollywood Boulevard . We went to all the labels in LA also, Capitol, Interscope, you know, doing it big."

This year, the Hittmenn Djs are bringing back the Powerball Mansion Cookout and Greg Street is doing an Awards Show dubbed the 1st Annual Downsouth Mixtape Awards. There is also a Celebrity v.s. Hittmenn Bowl-A-Thon, an Annual Strip Off Lock In, and a showcase, The Next Top Artist. The weekend will be huge with hundreds of Djs flooding the city. Kaspa will also be premiering the movie he wrote and directed in conjunction with Macadocious Films called Off Da Hook visit www.offdahookdamovie.com for the trailer.

We are the only DJ crew, that has 4 major deals under their belt, I don't know who else is doing what, but we got four major deals Hydro-(Trai-D (Jive), Dapa- Grind (Swag Team Yung Joc's Label, Bigga Rankin (Slip-n-Slide) and Greg Street (Interscope Records)."
