Miami, FL – March 18, 2008 – On Saturday March 29, 2008, Hip-Hop Media Lab, Lady Admix and 5th Element present the 1st annual WMC Block Party at PS14 with DJ Chela and DJ Laylo. Two of New York's premiere lady DJ's come to Downtown Miami for the biggest music celebration of the year…Winter Music Conference. Hosted by the social movement organization Leftist Lounge, this block party also showcases South Florida's poetic, visual artistic and musical talent. Leftist Lounge is the perfect party for WMC participants and music enthusiasts alike at an affordable price, and just blocks away from the Ultra Music Festival. DJ Chela and DJ Laylo kick off Leftist Lounge Miami spinning hip-hop, soul, reggae, Latin, and house from 5:00pm and until 10:00pm. Leftist Lounge hosts unique parties to celebrate commitment to social change while giving space to the community to dance, eat, laugh, and inspire one another. This block party is no ordinary party, but a party where people gather to build a powerful social movement through the festivity of music, poetry, and visual art.
