Prodigy Hits the Billboard Top 40 for the 10th Time With New Album H.N.I.C. Pt. 2
NEW YORK, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third time as a solo performer and the 7th time as part of the platinum-selling duo Mobb Deep, Prodigy has released an album which has debuted into the Billboard Top 40 Album Sales Chart.
While "The Life," the first commercial single from H.N.I.C. Pt. 2 maintains its position as the #1 song on Billboard's HOT Singles & Sales Chart for the second week in a row, the album debuted on the Top 40 Album Sales Chart (#36) and made its "Hot Shot Entry" at #3 on the R&B/hip-hop charts. This achievement marks Prodigy's highest chart appearance on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Album Charts in his decade long career. He shares the Top 40 ranking with such star-studded artists as Mariah Carey, Ashlee Simpson, Alan Jackson, Michael Buble among others.
