I must admit - being a die-hard UGK fan, my take on the group is strange. I don't think that they're greatest hits stacks up to an Outkast, EPMD, or those legendary groups - but they've never, EVER dropped a weak duo album
and Ridin Dirty is easily top 5 Southern Hip-Hop albums of all times. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they made the perfect music to ride to, and I can't really pick out a hit from it. Long live the Pimp.

What the casual fan doesn't realize is Pimp was the engine to the UGK machine - a lot of their most controversial songs were a result of Pimp's outspoken/controversial personality.
Is he a lyricist - nooooo, he was much more than that - he bought personality to the game.
