Funny thing Ali from the Lunatics was the "real" rapper, but Nelly took the sing-song style of Bone Thugs and added the Lou and ran straight to the top -
I think that Nelly probably could rap/rhyme for real, but lyricists end up on their mom's couch or ghostwriting for the rappers - true story
